6 Activities for Halloween

The scariest season is approaching and there is no better way to celebrate Halloween than with family and friends, which is why we share these fun activities and games to set the mood for this celebration.

Make your own costume

This is a great way to explore your creativity together. Use items you have around the house and recycle materials such as boxes, plastic and / or fabric.

Spooky recipes

Invite the kids to prepare fun and healthy snacks with Halloween theme decorations, from oatmeal cookies with a pumpkin face, to jelly eyes, banana made ghosts or carrot brooms, the kids will love them!

Scavenger hunt

Decorate a “place of terror” to have a scavenger hunt. Put clues and obstacles throughout the place and make fun instructions to guide the kids (and grown ups) to the treasure.

Stick the spider on the web

On a large piece of cardboard, draw a large spider web in the center. Then, print or find spider stickers, place the cardboard on the wall and have fun together trying to stick the spiders inside the spider web while blindfolded.

Catching apples

In a large, deep bowl, place 6 to 8 apples and fill it with enough water so that the apples can float. The idea is to catch the apples with your mouth. With your hands behind your back, try to remove the apples from the bowl with your mouth one by one. Whoever manages to get the most wins.

.

Visit a pumpkin patch

Visiting a pumpkin farm as a family can be a lot of fun, from learning how the pumpkins are grown to each person choosing their favorite pumpkin to decorate at home. Let your personality shine through when picking your pumpkin 😉
